We called in advance for outdoor dining since we had our dog with us and they were more than happy to serve us. Luckily, there was no one eating outside as there was only one table. I love Tofu House, so it was great to see another restaurant with a similar menu closer to our home. The side dishes were great, our combination tofu soup hit the spot, and the squid sizzling plate was flavorful. Couldn't have asked for a better meal!

The food was absolutely delicious! We got the cold noodle + galbi combo and the tteokbokki. The cold noodles came with some vinegar and mustard sauce on the side which both elevated the flavor of the broth. Galbi was cooked well and was extremely tender. The dishes came with a large variety of banchan, which were also very tasty. My favorite were the potato and the fish cake. The portion sizes were huge and well worth the value. Will definitely come back whenever I'm craving Korean food. The only negative thing was that the server gave me some attitude when I asked for two separate containers for my noodles and broth. She ignored the request the first time and then when I asked again, she groaned/scoffed and looked away. Felt like it was a pretty reasonable request and don't appreciate the bad attitude. -1 for bad service.

Popular classic Korean tofu stew restaurant with some special items. Great!: Galbijjim - The meat on these ribs is ultra tender. I find that the sauce here is reduced further than other places like Daeho, which amounts to almost like a barbecue rib eating experience. These ribs are served long and uncut, so it's a bit messy to eat. The other ingredients in the galbijjim like potato, carrot, and rice cakes were decent as well. Very reasonably priced compared to places that specialize in galbijjim. Supreme Fried Chicken - Not sure what sauce this is, but it has a sugar coating over it. Chicken is fried really well and is super crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. I like that the drummettes often have extra meat attached to them from the breast. Banchan - shoutout to the myriad of banchan items served here. Special acknowledgment to the eggplant, fish cakes, and japchae. Excellent! Good: Mul naeng myeon - this is my first time trying this food. Very refreshing and cooling. I can imagine it hitting the spot perfect on a scorcher of a day. Definitely add some hot mustard and vinegar to deepen the flavor of the ice broth. Combination Tofu Soup - really good ingredients in here and the broth is solid. I like that there are whole pieces of pork belly in here, and that the tofu itself is in big pieces and doesn't disintegrate into the soup. Ok: Yuk Gae Jang w/ Mandoo -overall a similar broth to tofu soup with some strands of glass noodles, vegetables, and a sparse amount of beef brisket. Flavor of the soup was good, but overall this was pretty ordinary in my opinion. Mandoo seem suspiciously like the frozen Bibigo wontons you can buy by the sack at Costco . Service is good and quick! Overall I'd definitely make another visit to this spot and try some more of their menu items!

very delicious soonsubu jjigae!! lots of flavor and different spice levels. i got the beef soup extra spicy and it was so good!! it also comes with egg on the side to crack in. the banchan also includes japchae (which i rarely see. i love japchae!!) inside is a little small and we had a small wait on a friday night, but overall it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff and great food!! i would definitely be back!
